How to get the healthiest chocolate at the best price

Having only recently become a Xocai associate, I knew that you could only obtain Xocai from people with associate membership - but I did not know that you could use that affiliation to sign up as a "preferred customer" through their web page to obtain a discount on the product.

Preferred Customer Discount

As it turns out, you can pay a fee (for a "starter kit") each year in order to obtain Xocai products at a discounted rate that is slightly below the wholesale price. I believe that the starter kit fee is $10, and you can then purchase Xocai products at $135 per case, plus shipping charges. Not a bad deal, considering that the suggested retail price (the price if you purchase individual cases from a distributor or from my website) is $150 per case. You do have to purchase one case per month though, so it is only a good deal if you know you're going to be eating a lot of chocolate! If you already know you want a box every month, then it makes sense to sign up as a preferred customer.

Wait a minute - you can get a better deal than that!

You could purchase your chocolate at the retail or preferred customer price and let your associate earn a retail bonus for your purchase (being an associate, I certainly can't complain about that!). However, if you're going to be a regular consumer of Xocai products, it doesn't make sense (to me, at least) not to just sign up as an associate, also called a "distributor."

The fee for associate membership is $35/year (most people tend to refer to it as a member fee like you pay at Costco). Sure, that's three times higher than the preferred customer fee - but you know what? The wholesale price, which is the price you pay as an associate, is only $110 per case, plus shipping! That's $40 below the retail value, and $25 less than the preferred customer price! So even if you only want two cases (you have to buy two when you sign up, though there is no further commitment), it's 15% cheaper to sign up as an associate ($110 x 2 + $35 = $255) than to buy two cases wholesale ($300) - and the rate of savings (the percent you save) only increases as you continue to shop throughout the year. Who would have imagined it?

The really nice thing about being an associate is that you don't actually have to try to sell the product in order to get your discount. (Of course, if you love the stuff and want to start promoting it, you have the option to earn a commission based on their compensation plan - but it's absolutely not required.) You don't even have to go on Autoship (where they make you buy a box every month) like you do as a preferred customer; you only need to do that if you're planning on expanding the business side of things, where you either act as a distributor and sell the product to customers, or sign people up and create a downline. If all you want is to get a nice healthy dose of awesome chocolate every month (or every two months, or every three, or whenever you darned well feel like ordering some), you can do that. If you want to renew it next year, you don't even have to pay another $35; the renewal fee is only $20. So for $35 and then $20/year, you get access to wholesale prices for a product that sells for a whole lot more to people who aren't "in the know."

Savings AND healthy chocolate - is there a better combination than that??

If you are interested in signing up to get Xocai at the wholesale price, I encourage you to visit my official "associate" page to learn more about the products, or if you already know about them and want to register, you can just skip to the associate sign-up form. It's that easy!
